Meet the organizers! If you see us at the meetup or anywhere else around Toledo, be sure to say hello / introduce yourself.

Justin Beaudry - he/him - I am a seasoned software and systems engineer. As the Director of Engineering at Actual Reality Technologies, I lead teams across the stack—from front-end interfaces to data infrastructure—delivering solutions for startups and larger enterprises alike. My career has included roles at companies like Vida Health, United Airlines, and JetInsight, where I've championed collaborative, people-first engineering cultures.

Greg Miller - he/him - Over the years my role has shifted to include a variety of roles and experiences. My emphasis is on a web site's front-end and enjoys digging into the concept, visual design, user experience, and product development. I am driven to self improvement, challenging to grow and build skills. I work hard to be a contributing, and self-managing team partner.

Yashraj Mote - he/him - I'm a recent Computer Science Engineering graduate from the University of Toledo and currently working on an early-stage startup through the UToledo Business Incubator. My work spans full-stack development, AI/ML, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps — and I've had the chance to build production systems at companies like Crown Equipment and Abhitech Energycon. I believe Toledo has untapped potential as a tech hub, and I'm passionate about building bridges between students and the local tech ecosystem.

Keith Instone - he/him - I am a user experience consultant, working with business and IT teams to define, design and deliver great experiences for people using technology. As part of Tech Toledo (from 2011-2019), I helped foster the tech ecosystem in the Toledo region. With things like Toledo Codes, time for the next iteration.

Apart from his full-time gig, Jeremy has been working to develop Spaceport, a full-stack web framework that embraces modern JavaScript, CSS, and HTML—wrapped into a server-side workflow that uses Groovy to manage the business logic. He's also developing several SaaS solutions, all using Spaceport.

Kurt Nissen - he/him - I am a systems architect and technology executive with a career focused on the full technology stack. As Chief Information Officer at Actual Reality Technologies, my expertise lies at the intersection of large-scale infrastructure, robust security frameworks, and modern software development. I specialize in designing resilient, future-ready systems and driving complex digital transformations from the ground up. I am passionate about applying that high-level IT strategy to help grow our local developer community here in Northwest Ohio.

Alden Bodak - he/him - As a full-stack engineer at Actual Reality Technologies, I focus on developing AI-driven applications while drawing from my computer science background with a specialization in digital forensics. Beyond my professional work, I've had the opportunity to work with Empowered AI to help launch the Young Empowered Authors program. When not coding, I can be found on a sand volleyball court or a disc golf course. I love connecting with fellow developers and sharing knowledge about the exciting possibilities in tech.
